Raul Millan -

Principal

Raul was introduced to the fundamentals of the produce industry during his seven-year experience working in Hunts Point. His experience at C.H. Robinson and Del Monte Fresh seasoned his career in sales, logistics, management, and directorship. In 2007, Raul joined with Ronnie Cohen to form Vision Import Group, LLC. This successful and expanding organization has been created by attention to high-quality growers and customer satisfaction.

Ronnie Cohen

Principal

Ronnie is third-generation in the produce industry with over 25 years of experience. He began working for his family business, Shapiro and Cohen Inc. in Hunts Point market. His experience working in New York has allowed him to transition from a traditional wholesaler to an importer, grower’s agent, and marketer of many commodities over the past years to the present.

Angela Aronica

Vice President - Sales

Angela has her Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences, with a minor in Agricultural Communications from The Pennsylvania State University. As second-generation in the produce industry, her experience and education has involved the study of agronomic field crops, as well as horticultural commodities. Angela has a certificate from the Food Safety Preventative Controls Alliance course, specifically focusing on the Foreign Supplier Verification Program. At Vision Import Group, Angela is involved in coordinating all aspects of sales activities. In addition, she assists in managing marketing strategies, and Food Safety.

Carolina Bordes

Grower Relations Manager

Carolina holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a Master’s in Economy. She has worked in the National Financing Corporation in Guayaquil, Ecuador, as a Treasury Analyst for 4 years. She has experience in managing negotiations through Stock Market Exchange and investment portfolios. She is managing our grower network in the field, in our warehouses, and through administrative tasks and various projects.  Carolina provides administrative, clerical, and customer support, and is a member of the Company Food Safety Committee.

Alberto Obregon

Director of Global Procurement

Alberto has a degree in Agronomy from Antonio Narro University in Mexico and a master’s in Environmental Technology. He has over 20 years of experience in the produce business overseeing export and import programs.

Working for the Secretary of Agriculture of Mexico, he spent 10 years (1997-2007) working in Mexico, Chile, South Africa and USA coordinating, developing and consulting on bilateral international agreements for fresh fruit export programs.
 
For a private citrus company in Mexico, he spent 13 years (2007-2019) directing the general operation, coordinating production fields, developing and operating packing plans and managing export and domestic programs.
   
Now Alberto will oversee all aspects of sourcing product. Managing and maintaining our relationships with all our grower partners.

Christine Graf-McCullough

Director Business Development

Christine is a California native that grew up in the agriculture community of the Salinas Valley.  She has over 20 years of experience in fresh produce holding different positions with Church Brothers,  Sysco and Pero Family Farms. Her experience, large network and passion for the industry allow her to effectively create value with excellent customer service and building strong relationships.

Jonas Cifuentes

Texas Operations Manager

Jonas has a Bachelor's Degree from North Tamaulipas University of Technology (UTTN) in petroleum engineering including a Technical degree in oil field maintenance. 


He began working at the national polytechnic institute (GAID-IPN), in the city of Reynosa Tamaulipas performing the work of non-destructive tests from November 2017 to November 2018.


Transitioning into agriculture he moved to Texas as an inventory clerk of dry goods from November 2018 to May-2019 at a produce company. He then had another opportunity to expanded his knowledge by joining a logistics company in McAllen as a receiving clerk focusing on the area where trucks with goods were received on the Mexican side of the border.

Mary McCullough

Account Manager

Mary is a California native that grew up in the agriculture community of the Salinas Valley. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Florida Atlantic University graduating cum laude.

She is a second- generation in the produce industry and has over 10 years of experience in fresh produce holding different positions with Church Brothers, FreshPoint, Pero Family Farms and Sprouts.

Merly Garcia

Accounts Payables

Merly has been working for over 18 years in the accounting field, first for the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. in the accounts payables department, as well as an account specialist. She also worked for a well-known East Coast magazine distributor, Hudson News, in the accounts receivables department.

Nicolas Rivera

Quality Control & Food Safety Coordinator

Nicolas has a degree in Agronomy from Universidad Autonoma de Tamaulipas in Mexico and a master’s in business administration in Universidad de Monterrey. Nicolas has certificate from the food safety preventive controls alliance course, global gap, primus gfs, organic NOP, HACCAP alliance. Second generation of producers in the central area of Tamaulipas, with extensive knowledge in citrus management in the fields, packaging house and food safety.

He began his working career in 2006 with large citrus grower in Mexico. His duties included pest control, irrigation schedules, fertilization as well as harvesting. In 2014 he started working at a large citrus packing house in Mexico becoming production coordinator responsible for helping in managing the packing house focusing on pre-selection, quality control, food safety though until the final product.

Morgan Putnam

Sales Coordinator

Studied Sales and Marketing at Gannon University and has prior experience in roles such as: sales consultant, practice representative, and leasing agent. Highly motivated and outgoing sales professional with extensive customer service experience and a track record of driving increased sales, improving buying experience, and elevating company profile within the target market.
