Raul was introduced to the fundamentals of the produce industry during his seven-year experience working in Hunts Point. His experience at C.H. Robinson and Del Monte Fresh seasoned his career in sales, logistics, management, and directorship. In 2007, Raul joined with Ronnie Cohen to form Vision Import Group, LLC. This successful and expanding organization has been created by attention to high-quality growers and customer satisfaction.
Ronnie is third-generation in the produce industry with over 25 years of experience. He began working for his family business, Shapiro and Cohen Inc. in Hunts Point market. His experience working in New York has allowed him to transition from a traditional wholesaler to an importer, grower’s agent, and marketer of many commodities over the past years to the present.
Eddie started working in produce at an early age in his Brooklyn, NY neighborhood grocery store. His wholesale produce career began in the Hunts Points Market in the Bronx, New York unloading freight cars, then elevated to foreman and worked his way up the ladder when he earned his position as a salesman. In the years after achieving salesman he also had roles in various other wholesale operations running different departments within those companies. He was recruited and moved to his next stage of his career when he joined Del Monte Fresh Produce as a District Sales Manager located in Philadelphia and worked in this role for 9 years. He managed sales in his Northeast territory where he was responsible for managing retailers, wholesalers and food service companies. While he was managing his sales he was recognized for his experience and knowledge and offered the position of General Manager for Del Monte Fresh Produce operation in Philadelphia, PA for another 9 years. His duties included overseeing all the District Sales Managers including product allocations as well as customer service, management of the warehouse operations and logistics. Having more than 30 plus years of experience in the produce industry Eddie has returned to his passion of sales and has taken on his newest role as Senior Sales Manager

Carolina holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a Master’s in Economy. She has worked in the National Financing Corporation in Guayaquil, Ecuador, as a Treasury Analyst for 4 years. She has experience in managing negotiations through Stock Market Exchange and investment portfolios. She is managing our grower network in the field, in our warehouses, and through administrative tasks and various projects. Carolina provides administrative, clerical, and customer support, and is a member of the Company Food Safety Committee.
Grower Relations Manager
Angela has her Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences, with a minor in Agricultural Communications from The Pennsylvania State University. As second-generation in the produce industry, her experience and education has involved the study of agronomic field crops, as well as horticultural commodities. Angela has a certificate from the Food Safety Preventative Controls Alliance course, specifically focusing on the Foreign Supplier Verification Program. At Vision Import Group, Angela is involved in coordinating all aspects of sales activities. In addition, she assists in managing marketing strategies, and Food Safety.
Lindsay holds a Master’s degree from the University of South Florida. She worked for SUPERVALU, Inc. for nine years in their East Coast Field Buying Office handling many different aspects of the produce business. Her experience includes produce procurement, logistics, and retailing. Her background makes her an excellent fit for our sales team at Vision Import Group’s southeast location.

Yen has a background in business with a Bachelor’s in Business Management. He comes with 10+ years’ experience in management, international sales, logistics, warehouse management, marketing, and procurement.

Marcos Gonzalez has several years of experience in the Import/Export field in the South Texas region having worked with two Customs Brokers in Hidalgo, TX. Marcos acquired his Customs Brokers License issued by the Treasury Department in 2001. He managed the Import Department and the warehouse facility while working with Godinez International, and carried that experience to Nogales, AZ when Godinez, Intl. opened an office there. Since then, he has acquired experience in logistics and operations of the trucking industry in the oilfield, refrigerated and crude oil hauling industry.
Mariely received her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Finance. She started working in Accounts Receivables in 2011. Her hobbies include painting, handcrafting, and foreign films
Merly has been working for over 18 years in the accounting field, first for the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. in the accounts payables department, as well as an account specialist. She also worked for a well-known East Coast magazine distributor, Hudson News, in the accounts receivables department.
